Pocillo Artisan Roast Nicaragua Segovia Coffee Description
In the northeastern region of Nicaragua, members of Unión de Cooperativas Agropecuarias de San Juan del Río Coco, or UCA San Juan, grow high quality organic coffee on small farms. Farmers cultivate coffee the way it’s been farmed for centuries, in an environmentally responsible way.
Founded in 1993, UCA San Juan is a union of eight cooperatives that provides services to a total of 420 coffee farmers. This cooperative is willing to walk the extra mile, they work to improve production and implement programs that have a positive impact on the farmers and their community."
Cupping Notes: A bright and well-balanced coffee, citrus flavor with herbal and nutty notes.

Nicaraguan coffee has always been my favorite; nothing to dislike
This tastes good, however, the Guatemalan coffee I get has a better flavor.
I lived in Nicaragua for about a year and it ruined coffee for me. Coffee in the US tastes like warm dirt compared to Nica coffee. Finally I’ve been able to find something that at least somewhat compares to the coffee I drank on a daily basis that year. I’ve been searching for months and this is the closest I’ve come to genuine fresh Nicaraguan coffee.
