Nariño is a fascinating mountain region with mighty volcanoes and canyons in Southwest Colombia. Alejandro Ahumado produces 100% Castillo in his 15 hectares farms. He is a proud member of the “Million Pesos” program. Unique to Colombia, such a program pays producers double the price for high-quality coffees that cups above 90 points.
This coffee is especially notable for its soft and mild cup, acidic flavor, sweetness and full rich aroma.
Cupping Notes: Medium-bodied with intense lemon and lime flavor, maple-brown sugar, sweet and nutty notes that finishes on a smooth mouth-feel.
Grinding: Compatible with Keurig® Compatible K-Cups® machines
